for that district.
I have further, in reference to the accompanying correspondence, to call Your Grace's attention to a letter from Mr Wilson transmitted by Mr. Cleverly in his communication of the 24th ultimo, which I have caused to be addressed to it. I consider that both the Surveyor General and the Assistant Surveyor General, when debarred from all private practice, should be allowed to count the additional 5 years towards a pension, sanctioned by Pension Minute, on the grounds of generally allowing professional services, in the cases of the Judge of the Court of Summary Jurisdiction, and the Colonial Chaplain.
If Your Grace should concur in this view, the rule would not apply to Mr Cleverly, as he has been allowed private practice.
